What size prints do you offer?
We currently have four standard sizes available:
• 8” x 10”
• 9” x 12”
• 12” x 16”
• 16” x 20”

Where are the original lake maps from?
The original maps used for our designs are from the archives of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and were originally created by Government artists in the 1950s -1970s. These images are covered under the ‘Open Government Licence - Ontario’ which allows for open, royalty-free usage of the archive.
I’m looking for an Ontario lake but I can’t find it in the shop. Is there anything I can do?
Yes! If you don’t see your lake in the shop, you can use our online
Lake Request form, or send us an email at
hello@bluemoonprintshop.ca to request a lookup of your lake. There are over 10,000 surveyed Ontario Lakes available, so there is a good chance your lake is available! Please note only Ontario lakes are available at this time.
Do your prints come with frames?
No, due to shipping restrictions we do not sell our prints with frames.
How do you ship your prints?
All prints are backed with a rigid cardboard insert and protected by a clear cellophane sleeve.
For tracked packages: packaged prints are then shipped in a rigid 0.5” cardboard box.
For Lettermail: packaged prints are flat shipped in a rigid cardboard mailer.

What are your shipping and handling times?
Below are general shipping and handling timeframes. Please keep in mind these are estimates, not guarantees as factors such as shipping delays and supply chain issues can impact these estimates. For more information about shipping, see our

• 2-5 days for printing and dispatch.

• Rest of Canada: 3-5 days after dispatch.
We work our hardest to meet our delivery estimates. If you’re ever in a situation where you haven’t received the order and it’s past its estimated delivery time, please allow a few more days. If you still haven’t received your order, get in touch with us at

Where can I buy frames?
Our prints are available in multiple standard sizes, and there are many options for frames. A few in Canada are:

How do I care for my print?
To ensure that your prints last for a long time, don’t keep them in direct sunlight or outdoors, and minimize contact with moisture. For best results, store in areas with humidity levels between 30% and 50%. They can be gently dusted with a soft dry cloth or a feather duster.
Can I hang my print(s) outside?
It is not recommended to hang your print(s) outside. While rated for direct sunlight, our prints are paper based and do not react well to high levels of moisture and temperature fluctuations that can be found in an outdoor environment.
What are your paper specs?
Our base paper has the following specifications:
Basis Weight: 305 gsm
Media Thickness: 21 mil
ISO Brightness: 96
What type of ink do you use?
We use Epson UltraChrome PRO10 Ink.
What payment types are accepted?
We accept all major Credit Cards (via Shopify Payments), Paypal (via Paypal) and Apple Pay (Via Apple Pay).
Are payments secure?
Yes! Blue Moon Gift Shop is built using the security of Shopify, trusted by over 500,000 online stores, having processed over $40 billion worth of transactions since their inception.

Can I pick up my order in person?
Yes! Orders can be picked up directly from the shop located near the town of Haliburton, On. To pick up an order locally, select ‘Local Pickup’ at checkout. To find out more about our local pickup option, please email
